MY MISSION
The first million changes the company and the founder.
The first €1M in annual revenue is more than a number. It is proof that a company can create value people will pay for, and that it can do so with enough consistency to become real.
It creates optionality. A founder can raise from a stronger position, build toward profitability, or consider an exit without negotiating from uncertainty. It brings confidence and control: more room to make deliberate decisions, rather than simply react to the next constraint.
They are surrounded by advice, content, frameworks, and opinions. The real difficulty is knowing what matters now, what does not matter yet, what applies to their company, and what order to do things in.
Clarity is the bottleneck. Without it, good people spend time and conviction in the wrong places.
Months wasted testing the wrong GTM motion.
Building features customers do not value.
Hiring sales too early.
Spending on tactics before fundamentals are right.
Jumping between contradictory playbooks.
Trying to solve everything alone.
High performers in other fields, like sport, have coaches, advisors, and experienced people around them. Founders deserve and need the same.
The role is not to add more theory. It is to bring clarity, challenge decisions, accelerate learning, and help founders act with more confidence.
There are repeatable principles and a logical sequence. Even though every company requires personalized decisions because this game is about making enough tests to find the successful path.
The aim is not to force companies through a rigid playbook. It is to work through the right questions and tests in the right order.
Over 12 years, I have built, operated, sold, advised, and refined the commercial work behind early-stage companies: across Algolia, Terality, poolside, and more than 100 startups.
The Founder Protocol is my attempt to codify the lessons: what repeatedly matters, what tends to distract, and how to make the next commercial decision with more clarity.
That is the work. No fluff. No guesswork. Just the clarity and discipline needed to build something real. With more control over the company, and the life around it.
Guillaume.
